Vatsala Goel is an award-winning Filmmaker based out of San Francisco. In 2009, she was one of 12 and the only female student accepted into the prestigious Film and Television Institute of India where she completed her MFA in Cinematography.
Her recent documentary feature film "The Train Leaves at Four" was selected to screen at the coveted “India Story” section at the 17th MAMI Mumbai Film Festival. NFDC India recommended the film in Film Bazaar's “Viewing Room List” in 2015.
She is currently directing "Home is Here" a short film about the quirks of finding lasting friendships in San Francisco. She is also developing the episodic documentary film series "Creative Couples", exploring the journey of creative & entrepreneural partners who make art together.
