EIGHTEEN TWENTYONE
Eighteen Twentyone is a collection of images from my adolescence, tracing family, friends, home, and the spaces I moved through, alongside moments from my first solo travels across India. Together, these photographs form a personal record of my formative years in Calcutta, where I was born and raised, and of the wider world I began to encounter on my own. I am drawn to fluid movement, and in these photographs I try to seize the ephemeral and render it, however briefly, tangible. All images were made between 2005 and 2009.
